Biography
Kate graduated from Nevskiy Design Institute and Roman Lyapin Art School. Since 2019, her artworks are regularly shown at group and solo exhibitions in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Sochi and other cities. Her story has just begun but already deserves focused attention.
You can have an appreciation of the artwork when it is genuine
The heart, hands and mind of an artist are in charge of creating an art piece. Sincerity cannot be faked.
Only true inspiration and excitement allows an artist to paint. Otherwise, it is just a craft.
Kate paints in oil, relying on classical painting technique. What features her artworks are pastose and confident brush strokes, that are visible. She combines smooth painting and texture.
Kate believes that art is aimed at uncovering and developing personality traits.
Painting is a key to exploring not only your inner world, but also infinite beauty and the world around us.
Nature is associated with the human soul, that is why landscape painting constitutes a great part of Kate's works. Painting nature allows one to convey their thoughts and feelings.
Landscape painting, especially with water elements, makes up a larger slice of Kate's art. However, her artworks also represent abstraction and figurative paintings too.
Kate Erokhina creates landscapes that are on the verge of abstraction and reality. Her paintings are infused with feelings, which are embodied in her artworks. The moments of emotional upheaval, catharsis, or adrenaline rush result in the images that appear in her mind.

As long as there is at least one person who feels the need for my art, even if this person is myself, I am immersed in painting.
Education
University under The Interparliamentary Assembly (IPA) ofEURASEC
Art school in Tula
After completing her studies at the art school, Kate enrolled at University under The Interparliamentary Assembly (IPA) ofEURASEC to study graphic design, which helped to build art and technical skills.
She began her studies at the art school in Tula, where she developed basic skills and interest in art. It is generally admitted that her talent has been prominent since childhood, which helped to succeed in her studies.
Roman Liapin School of Painting
To get an artistic education, together with university, she studied at the Roman Liapin School of Painting. This unforgettable experience helped to deepen her knowledge of academic drawing and painting, which resulted in her unique artistic style.
